Trading Report Card – Jun 11

The market was in doldrums for most part of Jun 11. I was net long on many positions which resulted in many losses even though I tried to minimise them. The market was still on an uptrend and I saw it as a correction. I was trying to time the resumption of the uptrend but was too early for many occasions. It was only the last few days of Jun that the raging bull returns, making 4 consecutive days of strong rebounds.

Cost of trading

I must say there are some trades that should not have been entered at all. I had new revelations and understanding about the trading system I used so I have not regretted for practising more, even though I have chalked up to $760 worth of commissions this month. Government also took about $60 worth of GST. My financing charges amounted to $198.
