Suntec REIT (long) – closed on 22 Jan 10

by Alvin on January 22, 2010

The price managed to break the first peak after a short retracement and I entered on the second break peak. The resistance at S$1.44 was strong as it was tested 3 times without a breakout. The stock closed lower than the open for 10 consecutive days. This stock is affected by the recent sell down. Bargain hunters can be seen in action buying up the stock after it gapped down during the open, pushing up the stock price and eventually it closed at the support.

Bought 3,000 shares at S$1.39 on 7 Jan 10
Sold 3,000 shares at S$1.33 on 22 Jan 10

Commission = S$30
Financing Charges = S$4.68 (S$0.39 x 12 days)

Loss = -S$214.68

Noted you are using T3B for your trading, right ?
For me I prefer to couple with ema and macd indicators for better entry as well as cutting loss.

T3B is only good for trending market in either side.
hope to read more trading art. from you in future.

Keep it up and happy trading trading
