Prosperity Personal has a great financial planning resource that is beautiful and practical at the same time! Take a look at the following screenshot:
You see the little icons on the bottom are what you can add into your financial portfolio. For example, you have Unit Trust, Stocks, Real Estate, Bond, Cash, Fixed Deposit, CPF, etc, where you add what is relevant to you. By dragging the icon into the columns above, it will self classify the icon into the various categories. By double clicking on the icon that you added, you can actually input/edit the value of the icon. After you have completed setting up the portfolio, you can see the breakdown is automatically calculated. I must say the planning is very detailed such that for icon like car, they include depreciation into the calculation.
Next, I was impressed with the timeline graph:
The figures that were generated previously are imported to this timeline graph. Here you can see icons at the bottom too. The difference is that you can add in the expenses at various stages of your life. This is especially so for big ticket items like Wedding and Property. Thereafter calculations are done almost immediately and graph readjusted!
