Here is the video that Fox has a face to face interview with him with regards to his prediction; that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts:
What does it mean for you, the investor? Would you react to his prediction? It seems very pessimistic and personally, you may not believe in predictions. Doom and gloom happening to one of the greatest countries in human history is far fetched and difficult to accept. But it is also such complacency that may cripple America eventually.
Before you think that I am swaying you to the gloom, I must clarify my stand is to take this as a warning that the worst can happen. As an investor, you must always choose to protect your asset/capital before even thinking of growing them. At any one time, you and your portfolio must be prepared for the worst to happen. If you have everything invested in the US economy, it is time to practice some diversification.
